About Me

A woman with curly white hair, wearing glasses and a dark green top, sitting indoors near a window.

Reading is my passion, so becoming a writer was always my goal. I love getting lost in other times, worlds, and heads. In college, I studied computer programming and loved solving the puzzle of logistical commands. But I loved documenting the process even more. Back then, I set my sights on becoming a writer, one day.

But alas, life got in the way. Marriage. Kids. Divorce. I needed to find a way to make a living. So, what does a creative writer do? Find the industry that has the hardest time communicating ideas to make sense. I found it. Engineering. Smart people - bad communicators. I used the three basic rules of writing to help them. Understand your audience. Write what you know. Show, don’t tell. I leveraged this into a wonderful career in business development and government relations. However, my passion has always been writing fiction.

I’m finally back to doing what I love. Hopefully, I’ll be able to share my latest book soon. In the meantime, I’ll be sharing a lot about the process to get there, as well as all the crazy ideas that go through my brain.

I hope you enjoy!
